About yEFIS
Young Immunologist Network of the European Federation of Immunological Societies
The EFIS Young Immunologist Network (yEFIS Network) aims to gather all early career scientists in Europe working in immunology. Within the various national immunology societies across Europe, self-organized Young Immunologist (YI) groups have arisen in the recent years. However, there has been limited contact between them. The aim of this network is to bring all these YI groups together and build a European network to represent their interests at both a national and a European level. EFIS provided the platform to start up this network and this is how in 2020 the yEFIS Task Force and the yEFIS Network were born. Please visit the yEFIS website to learn more about us.
EFIS and the European Congress of Immunology (ECI)
The European Federation of Immunological Societies was founded in 1975 as a non-profit umbrella organization representing 36 national immunological societies across Europe, Eurasia and the Middle East. The main missions of EFIS include supporting immunological research and education, as well as fostering scientific interaction between members.
EFIS organizes the triennial European Congress of Immunology, hosted in Dublin in 2024 in collaboration with the Irish Society for Immunology.
